If you want to learn the basics of knitting, this class is for you. We will teach you how to start your project (cast on), the knit and purl stitches, and how to finish your project (cast off). You will learn about garter stitch and stockinette stitch. With this knowledge, you'll be ready to tackle your first scarf! Class is limited to 6 students to make sure everyone gets plenty of help. Get 10% off supplies (needles, yarn!) when you buy them at our store. You can purchase supplies at our shop right before class, just plan to show up 10 minutes early. 

Weekday evening sessions run from 7 pm to 9 pm. Sunday sessions run from 10 am to 12 pm.

Materials: US7 or US8 knitting needles, one skein of worsted weight yarn. Please choose a yarn with smooth texture and light in color. Materials are not included in the class fee. Get 10% off supplies (needles, yarn!) when you buy them at our store.
