find your inner knitwear designer in a supportive learning atmosphere. you will learn basic design math, why gauge swatches are important even for accessories, and where to find inspiration and how to store it for dry spells. by taking your favourite basic sock shapes as your base, you’ll learn how to apply different stitch patterns to create the sock drawer of your dreams.

students are expected to be comfortable with sock knitting basics. we will not be going over how to do specific stitches/techniques nor how to knit a specific pair of socks, but rather how to combine stitches and do the math to create something new. suggested knitting level is advanced beginner and up. this is a 2-part workshop.
