Introduction to Tarot
October 9th, 10 am to Noon or October 22, 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm
Come learn the basics of Tarot!
Contrary to popular belief, this is not a fortune telling workshop! Tarot is a tool for creative problem solving through the use of symbols and stories. In this workshop, you will learn how to use tarot for personal exploration through the metaphor of the the Hero's Journey and the four elements. We will discuss the underlying themes and symbols in the tarot cards, so you can understand the overall framework of the cards and work with them intuitively.
This workshop is for you if you’ve never touched a tarot deck before but want to start, or if you’ve started studying but feel overwhelmed trying to learn all the cards. Ana has over 20 years of experience with tarot, and has been teaching tarot for five years. In this workshop, she will teach you the basic underlying framework for both the Major and Minor Arcana, so you can start to see the tarot as a cohesive system rather than an overwhelming collection of 78 cards.
This workshop includes a workbook developed exclusively for this workshop. By signing up, you agree to our Class Cancellation Policy.
Materials: You will need a Rider-Waite based tarot deck for the class. We have several available for sale at the shop if you don’t have one.
Tea and Tarot: Monthly Online Study Group
Tea & Tarot is our monthly study group. Ana presents a new topic each month, examining the symbolism in the tarot. You will gain a deeper understanding of the cards, and practice reading for yourself and others in a supportive environment.

Ana Campos's Immersive Introduction to Tarot was the first tarot course I took when I started my deep dive into the cards. I couldn't have picked a better place to start. Ana covered everything I needed to have a solid grounding in the meanings of the cards. Since she focused on the systems and symbols the tarot is based on, I was able to get "off book," that is to read the cards without consulting the book, much sooner than I expected.
