join ash alberg from the pembina fibreshed to learn how to use natural dyes to dye wool without shocking the fibres. students will learn the processes of preparing protein-based and cellulose-based fibres for dyeing using natural materials. while the wool dyes, ash will discuss ethical foraging, where to purchase natural dyes, local dye plants and the role of fibresheds, and troubleshooting issues. come prepared to ask questions, take notes, and have fun! suitable for all levels of experience.
